Brass Instruments
1947 F.E.Olds (Los Angeles) Studio Trombone. Solid nickel silver bell flair, braces, tunning slide and slide crook. Dark tone, all original parts and lacquer. No dents. Dual bore slide and bell are in beautiful condition. Upper slide bore is .525 , lower slide bore is .540. Comes with a period case in fair condition. No MPC. $695. (Pics at bottom) SOLD 5/13

1970 Conn 8D French Horn. This horn came to us with a crushed bell
and a large hole in it. We replaced it with a new solid nickel silver 8D bell and was not lacquered. Great tone and playability. $1295 SOLD 3/13

Saxophones
1970 King Super 20 Tenor Sax #460xxx. All new pads. 20% lacquer remaining. A great pro playing horn. The neck and bell are made of brass verses silver on the earlier models. Solid nickel silver key hinges with brass engraved key cups. No dents. Comes with a good solid case. $2295. (Pics at bottom)
1970 Selmer Mark V1 Tenor sax. All new pads ,corks,and springs. Dings and dents burnished out with 60% of the original lacquer in tact. Comes with original Selmer pro case. The neck has never been bent or repaired. There is no serial number on it and from all the information I have found means this sax was assembled in Paris. No serious damage such as a bent body or damaged tone holes. All tone holes were inspected and lightly refaced with diamond circular tone hole files. Plays down to low B flat and sub tones with ease. 1937 Buescher Aristocrat Tenor Sax. Big, beautiful tone. Original lacquer is 99% intact. Some splotching to the bell face. All new corks, felts and JL Smith premium pads with Buescher snaps and Norton springs. The previous owner said she received this sax from her parents in 1940. Hasn't been played much in the last 60 years! The case is not original but comes from the same era. It is in decent working condition. $1995. Dark cellulose lacquer patina. (Pics at bottom)

Brillhardt 5* metal Level Air Alto sax with cap and ligature. Excellent condition. $95. List price is $180 Vintage Brillhart Ebolin Tenor Sax mouthpiece from Great Neck, N.Y. #5 stamped on the back table denotes an early example from the late 40's or early 50's. No damage to the bite plate, rails or chamber. The top side logo is worn away but not scratched or damaged. Serial number is 5 digits, #37947. Comes with what I believe to be the original clear plastic cap designed for an inverted ligature. $170. SOLD 3/13

1959 Buffet R13 Clarinet. This golden era Buffet is perfect in every way. Beautiful wood grain with a big free blowing open tone. All new Lucien Delux pads at the bottom combined with cork pads on the upper joint. No mouthpiece. $1850. New retail is $4600. Comes with a newer Buffet double case for B flat and A clarinets. SOLD 3/13 Flutes 1973 Haynes flute. Open hole low B foot. All solid silver. Thin wall at .014.......Beautiful tone and such a joy to play. 1905 Haynes Flute #98x, Grenedella wood, solid silver keys to low C Wonderful warm tone. Plays very well at A438. Overall length 26 1/4 in. Sounding length is 23 5/8 in. Embrochure is 11.8 x 10.4 mm Would be a fine addition to any players arsenal or collectors display There is no lateral play in the key work. New Lucien Delux pads. The head joint has a repaired crack that is barely noticable (Not uncommon) The case is not original and is in fair condition. $2995
1930's to 1950's Metro Flute from the Lockie Music Exchange,L.A.,Ca. This is a unique flute in the fact that it has soldered tone holes. Can't
find much information on it. It is my belief that this was a stencil
flute possibly made by Bettony out of Boston. Solid nickel silver body, plated keys. It came to us in very poor condition but it has been restored and plays very nicely. Closed hole to low C. Extra heavy wall at .020 gives this flute a full, stable tone. Serial number BN 6659. $695
