1930's to 1950's Metro Flute from the Lockie Music Exchange, L.A., Ca. This is a unique flute in the fact that it has soldered tone holes. Can't
find much information on it. It is my belief that this was a stencil
flute possibly made by Bettony out of Boston. Solid nickel silver body, plated keys. It came to us in very poor condition but it has been
restored and plays very nicely. Closed hole to low C. Extra heavy wall
at .020 gives this flute a full, stable tone. Serial number BN 6659.
